FAQ

Questions partners ask us.

More answers in the help center, or email us.

What is a B2B music distributor?

A B2B distributor works with labels, distributors and management companies rather than individual uploaders. You get a dedicated team, negotiated store relationships, catalog-scale tools and royalty accounting instead of a self-serve upload form.

Can we move our catalog from another distributor?

Yes. We migrate releases with their existing ISRCs and UPCs and coordinate the switch with stores so your releases stay live and keep their play counts and playlists.

How do we get paid?

Royalties are reported monthly with track-level detail. Payouts go to your chosen bank or payment method once statements close.

Do we keep ownership of our masters?

Yes. Masters, publishing and all rights stay with you. HILLS distributes and administers them on your behalf under your agreement.

Are there any fees?

Distribution has no upfront or per-release fees: HILLS earns a revenue share agreed in your contract. White-label plans carry a one-time setup fee.

How long is the agreement?

Most agreements run for one year and renew each year. Either side can end it with 90 days' notice, and we help move your catalog with its ISRCs and UPCs intact.
